Morella Day Trip

Fall in love with one of Spain's most beautiful villages on our Morella Day Trip from Benicassim. We'll take you to some of Morella's most iconic monuments, such as the castle, porticoes and the walls that encircle this medieval town.

We'll meet at 9 am at the Benicassim Tourist Office and board the minibus to Morella. After a 90 minute journey, we'll arrive at the southeastern municipality, welcomed by the San Miguel Gate. Morella features 1.2 miles (2 km) of city walls, 10 towers, and 7 gates, and it served as a medieval fortress.

We'll tour Morella's old town, which includes stately mansions, stone porticoes and gates to the walled area. You'll also have some free time for food before we continue.

Next, we'll visit an artisanal honey shop to learn about local products. Nearby stands the Morella Basilica, the municipality's most important church, where we’ll explore its decorated interior.

We will visit the exterior of Morella Castle and discuss its history. You'll then have 1 hour of free time to either visit the castle or have lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we'll return to the minibus and head back to Benicassim, with an expected arrival time of around 7:30 pm.
