Embark on a guided tour from Benicassim to Peniscola, a charming town on the Costa del Azahar. Explore the old town, visit the Templar castle, and discover the history behind its significance to the Papacy.

Departing at 9 am from the Tourist Office in Benicassim, a 40-minute minibus ride will take you to Peniscola. The tour starts with a guided walk through the historic center, including a visit to the artillery park and the facade of the Peniscola Castle, built by the Knights Templar in the 13th century.

Inside the castle, learn about Pedro Martínez de Luna, also known as Pope Luna, and his exile in Peniscola. Explore the 'bufador', a natural hole between rocks and the sea, before admiring the Casa de las Conchas and the church of Santa Maria. The tour concludes at the Sea Museum, showcasing the town's seafaring tradition.

Return to Benicassim by 2 pm, concluding a day filled with history and scenic beauty.
