Day Trip to Guadalest, Altea & Fuentes del Algar

On this day trip to Guadalest and Altea, you'll explore two towns in the province of Alicante and enjoy a visit to the Fuentes del Algar.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the hotel entrance of the Benidorm Bus Station (Hotel La Estación) and depart for Guadalest. After a 30-minute road trip, we will arrive in this scenic town. A 30-minute guided tour will introduce you to the area's historical significance, followed by one hour of free time to explore its streets and museums, which number 8 in total despite a population of only 200.

Next, we will travel to Altea, where a 30-minute walking tour will include sites such as the Portal Vell, Glorieta del Mar, and Carmelina Sánchez Cutillas Square. After the tour, enjoy free time for lunch.

Post-lunch, we will visit the Fuentes del Algar, known for its waterfalls. You will have free time to swim in the refreshing waters.

We will conclude the tour with a return to our meeting point in Benidorm, making for a total trip duration of approximately 9 hours.

Itinerary Adjustments

From October 2024 to March 2025, the itinerary will be rearranged to optimize sunlight. The tour will start with Fuentes de Algar, followed by Guadalest, and end with Altea before returning to the meeting point in Benidorm.
