On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn about the grape harvest and taste local products.
Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate
We'll meet at 12 pm noon at the Bento Gonçalves train station, departing to explore the customs of 19th-century Italian immigrants in Brazil.
Next, we'll head to a family-run wine estate to participate in grape harvesting, discovering the ancient method of treading the grapes, a tradition from the Italian settlers used for juice extraction.
Afterward, we'll enjoy a merendim, tasting local items such as cheeses, sausages, and juices, accompanied by a rural band.
Additionally, there will be a tasting of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative. A toast will be in order!
Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, where the tour concludes at 5 pm.
