On this tour we'll visit a wine estate in Bento Gonçalves to learn how the grape harvest is carried out and taste the local products.

Half Day Visit to a Wine Estate

We'll meet at 12 pm noon at the Bento Gonçalves train station and depart for an experience focused on the customs of Italian immigrants who arrived in Brazil in the 19th century.

Next, we will head to a family-run wine estate to participate in grape harvesting. You'll learn about the ancient method of treading the grapes, a tradition from the Italian settlers that was commonly used to extract juice.

We will enjoy a merendim, sampling a selection of local products such as cheeses, sausages, and juices, with live music from a rural band enhancing the experience.

Additionally, there will be a tasting of wines and champagnes from the wine cooperative. We encourage participation in a toast!

Finally, we will return to the starting point in Bento Gonçalves, concluding the tour at 5 pm.
