The tour begins with a pickup at your hotel in Bento Gonçalves at 1 pm, focusing on the history of champagne in Brazil. This journey traces back to 1913 when Italian immigrant Manoel Peterlongo initiated the production of the first Brazilian sparkling wine, following the natural fermentation method similar to that used by Dom Pérignon.

The Rota dos Espumantes includes 17 wine estates; however, this tour covers three prominent ones. The first stop is the Domno winery, known for its acclaimed sparkling wines. Next, we visit Vinícola Peterlongo, a pioneer in Brazil's sparkling wine industry, featuring castle-like architecture reminiscent of the Champagne region and a vast underground cellar. After a tasting session, we conclude at Vinícola Garibaldi, a cooperative with over 90 years of tradition and a focus on sparkling wines. The tour wraps up by returning to your hotel in Bento Gonçalves at 5 pm.
