In this activity we'll visit a wine estate, take part in the grape harvest, taste their wines, and have a delicious typical Italian lunch, not to be missed!

Visit to a Wine Estate with Lunch

At 9 am we'll meet at Bento Gonçalves train station, where the bus will be waiting to take us to a family-run wine estate in the region.

Once there, we will observe the grape harvest process and participate in its different phases. We will start by picking the grapes and, to replenish our energy, we will have a typical Italian aperitif, the 'merendim'. Food will be accompanied by traditional melodies sung by the local women, reflecting the heritage of Italian immigration.

After the break, we will tread the grapes using the ancient method of extracting grape juice by treading with our feet.

As a reward for our efforts, we will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring typical Italian dishes. To conclude, we will have a tasting of wines, champagne, and chocolates, along with a tour of the estate's facilities.

Finally, we will return to the starting point, where the tour will end at 4 pm.
