Gorica Hill Hiking Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the Mangalemi Hotel in Berat to start the Gorica hill hiking route. We'll explore the inland region of Albania and climb Gorica hill.

We'll leave the historic centre of Berat early in the day and enter the fields surrounding the so-called city of a thousand windows.

As we climb, we'll enjoy panoramic views of Berat. From the hill, you can see the Mangalem neighborhood across the river.

This region is known for its stone houses. From this location, we'll observe its architecture featuring typical rectangular windows. We will walk through fields of flowers and vines to the highest part of Gorica hill until we reach the top.

We'll take a brief photo break before descending the opposite side of the hill. From this area, we'll have a view of the surrounding valleys where oil and wine are produced. We'll also pass the Gorica Bridge, a symbol of Berat.

We'll complete the hike and return to the meeting point after about six hours.
