Gorica Hill Hiking Tour

At the appointed time, we will meet in front of the Mangalemi Hotel in Berat to start the Gorica hill hiking route. We will explore the inland region of Albania and climb Gorica hill.

First, we will leave the historic center of Berat, where we will experience the first light of day and enter the fields surrounding the city of a thousand windows.

As we climb, we will enjoy panoramic views of Berat. From the hill, you will be able to see the entirety of the Mangalem neighborhood on the opposite bank of the river.

This region is known for its stone houses. From this location, we will observe its typical rectangular windows. We will continue our route through fields of flowers and vines to the highest part of Gorica hill and reach the top.

We will pause for a photo break before descending down the opposite side of the hill. From this part, we will have a view of the surrounding valleys, where oil and wine are produced. We will also pass the Gorica Bridge, a symbol of Berat.

We will end the route, arriving back at the meeting point after about six hours.
