Gorica Hill Hiking Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the Mangalemi Hotel in Berat to start the Gorica hill hiking route. We'll reconnect with nature as we explore the inland region of Albania and climb Gorica hill.

First, we'll leave behind the historic centre of Berat, where we'll have the opportunity to see the first light of day and enter the fields surrounding the so-called city of a thousand windows.

As we climb, we'll enjoy panoramic views of Berat - cameras at the ready! From the hill, you'll be able to take in the entirety of the Mangalem neighbourhood across the river.

This region is famous for its stone houses. From this location, we'll see its architecture full of typical rectangular windows. We'll continue through fields of flowers and vines to the highest part of Gorica hill until we reach the top!

We'll pause for a photo break before descending the opposite side of the hill. From this part, we'll have a view of the surrounding valleys, where oil and wine are produced. We'll also pass the Gorica Bridge, a symbol of Berat.

We'll end the route, arriving at the meeting point after about six hours.
