Gorica Hill Hiking Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the Mangalemi Hotel in Berat to start the Gorica hill hiking route. We'll reconnect with nature as we explore the inland region of Albania and climb Gorica hill.

First, we'll leave behind the historic centre of Berat, catching the early light as we enter the fields surrounding the so-called city of a thousand windows.

As we climb, enjoy panoramic views of Berat. From the hill, you’ll be able to see the neighborhood on the opposite bank of the river, Mangalem.

This region is known for its stone houses, showcasing architecture with typical rectangular windows. We'll walk through fields of flowers and vines to the highest part of Gorica hill until we reach the top.

We will pause for a photo break before descending down the opposite side of the hill. This area offers views of the surrounding valleys, where oil and wine are produced. We will also pass the Gorica Bridge, one of the symbols of Berat.

We'll conclude the route, arriving back at the meeting point after about six hours.
