At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe 5 to begin our food tour of Bergamo. We will pass through the historic Porta Dipinta (Painted Door) and enter the upper part of Lombard Town. This tour will showcase the delicacies the city has to offer.

Accompanied by our guide, we will wander through the streets of Bergamo's historic centre. We will explore traditional country dishes and the latest culinary trends in the region, which blend history and modernity.

The tour will start with a traditional Bergamo aperitif, accompanied by a glass of Valcalepio red wine and fresh pasta, specifically foiade or casoncelli, a half-moon shaped filled pasta.

Our second tasting will feature a dish of polenta with lard and taleggio cheese, a classic recipe based on cornflour, notable for its creaminess.

To conclude, we will visit an old ice cream parlour to enjoy coffee and taste stracciatella ice cream, a flavor invented here in the 1960s.

The tour will last 3 hours and will focus on exploring Bergamo's cuisine.
