Itinerary
Meet at the indicated time at Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII, then board the bus to the city of canals.
The visit begins with a boat tour along the Venice Grand Canal. The ride includes passing beneath the Rialto Bridge and reaching St. Mark's Square.
Next, we embark on a two hour long guided tour of Venice. The tour includes viewing the giant bell tower of St. Mark's Basilica and the arcades in the Doge's Palace. The tour highlights the Bridge of Sighs, which was used by condemned prisoners, contrary to romantic notions. Afterwards, you'll have free time to eat and explore the surroundings of St Mark's before boarding the bus for the return journey.
The tour returns to Bergamo 12.5 hours later.
