Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the National Theatre to begin the guided tour of Bergen. We'll first proceed to Torgallmeningen Central Square, the main street and shopping hub, observing the numerous shops in this area.
The next stop is the Fish Market, where we will appreciate the Nordic architecture characterized by vibrant house colors.
Afterward, we will visit the Bryggen neighborhood, a World Heritage-listed site that once served as the headquarters for the Hanseatic League.
We will also explore the Bergenhus Fortress, a well-preserved castle and former royal residence, as well as St. Mary's Church, the oldest building in Bergen, known for its valuable golden altarpiece.
After concluding our visits, we will return to the Fish Market to part ways after a 2-hour tour.
