On this tour from Bergen, ride the iconic Flåm train and embark on a cruise through the Nærøyfjord, exploring breathtaking landscapes.
Tour Details
We'll meet at Strandkaien 16 at the designated time to start a comprehensive tour of the Norwegian fjords. The journey includes narrow valleys, emerald waters, and steep hillsides within a World Heritage Site.
The adventure begins at Vossevangen, followed by a bus ride to Gudvangen, located at the end of the Nærøy fjord. In Gudvangen, a 30-minute guided tour of the Viking village of Njardarheimr will provide insights into the Viking Age in Norway.
Next, we will enjoy a 2-hour cruise on the Nærøyfjorden, known as one of the narrowest fjords globally. This scenic boat ride will feature mountains over 1,700 meters high, waterfalls, and quaint villages.
Upon reaching Flåm, you will have 30 to 55 minutes of free time, based on the season, to have lunch and explore the area, which may include a visit to the Railway Museum.
The journey continues on the renowned Flåm train for 50 minutes, showcasing stunning views. A brief stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall will provide a photo opportunity.
The tour concludes at Myrdal Station, where we will board a regular train to Bergen, wrapping up a 10-and-a-half-hour excursion at Bergen railroad station.
