Vøringsfossen - A Majestic Waterfall

Vøringsfossen is one of Norway's most iconic and spectacular waterfalls!

With an impressive drop of 182 meters, of which 145 meters is free fall, Vøringsfossen is a sight that will take your breath away.

Vøringsfossen is located in the heart of the Hardangervidda National Park, surrounded by magnificent nature and dramatic rock formations.

The experience you get when you stand on one of the many viewing platforms, or the spectacular bridge that goes right over the waterfall, is something that cannot be described, it has to be experienced.

We drive on to Skjervsfossen - a waterfall where you have the opportunity to walk the stone-stairs up to the top of the waterfall and feel the cold, humid and fresh air, and not least the roar of the waterfall.

After the many nature experiences we finally stop at Dale where we treat ourselves to coffee/tea and a Norwegian waffle with jam or Norwegian brown cheese.

The tour is a round trip where on the trip to Vøringsfossen we drive along the beautiful Hardangerfjord, stop at the famous Steinsdalsfossen and visit the Norwegian Nature Center.

At the Nature Center we will enjoy lunch before watching the 180-degree film that shows you some of the fantastic sceens that we are about to experience.

On the way back to Bergen we stop obove the famous Hardanger Bridge and enjoy the view of the majestic fjord.
