On this day trip to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen, we will visit two historic sites in Germany from Berlin.

Day Trip to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen

We will meet at the Brunnen der Völkerfreundschaft fountain in Alexanderplatz and board a bus for the excursion. The trip starts with a panoramic tour of the monuments of Berlin before heading to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

At Sachsenhausen, a guided tour will cover the history of German concentration camps during the Nazi era. We will explore the courtyards, barracks, and cells to understand the conditions and punishments faced by prisoners.

After Sachsenhausen, we will go to Potsdam, a World Heritage Site. You will have the option for 1.5 hours of free time or to join a guided tour of Sanssouci Palace.

We will return to Berlin after a total of 7 hours.

Sachsenhausen Day Trip

If you wish to visit only the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, there is a dedicated tour option.

We will depart from central Berlin in a comfortable bus to Sachsenhausen, where a 2-hour guided tour will cover its history. We will visit key sites including the central courtyard, Tower A, barracks 38 and 39, the kitchen, Tower E, the prison, and the gas chamber.

The experience concludes with our return to Berlin 4.5 hours later.
