Day Trip to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen
On this day trip, we will visit Potsdam and the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, essential sites if you are in Berlin.
We will meet at the Brunnen der Völkerfreundschaft fountain in Alexanderplatz and board a bus for our excursion from Berlin. The trip will begin with a panoramic tour of the most important monuments in Berlin, followed by a visit to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
At Sachsenhausen, a guided tour will provide insights into the history of German concentration camps during the Nazi regime, including courtyards, barracks, and cells, as well as the distribution of work and punishments inflicted on prisoners.
After Sachsenhausen, we will proceed to Potsdam, a World Heritage Site. You will have the option of 90 minutes of free time in the town or participating in a guided tour of Sanssouci Palace.
We will conclude the trip with a return to Berlin, arriving back at the starting point after a total duration of 7 hours.
