Tour Details

On the day of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Tuxtla Gutiérrez and taken north to Sumidero Canyon National Park.

You will travel to the banks of the Grijalva River where a boat will take you into the landscapes of Chiapas. Sail between the towering canyon walls, which reach heights between 330 and 3300 feet (100 and 1000 metres), while admiring the beauty of the region.

During the river cruise, you'll have the opportunity to spot local wildlife, including herons, egrets, crocodiles, and spider monkeys. Enjoy an unforgettable experience of Mexico's natural scenery.

After the boat tour, you will have an hour of free time to explore the area. Subsequently, you will leave the Sumidero Canyon and travel to San Cristóbal de las Casas, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Pickup

When making your reservation, you can choose to be picked up from either Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport or your hotel in the city centre.

If you select hotel pick up, collection will occur after 9 am.If you choose airport pick up, your guide will meet you in the arrivals hall, available for flights arriving before 1 pm.
