Chiapas & Yucatan 6 Day Tour Package to Cancun

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Sumidero Canyon - San Cristóbal

Upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport, guests will be picked up and taken to the Sumidero Canyon for a two-hour boat cruise along the Grijalva River, where wildlife can be observed. After lunch, the group will travel to San Cristobal de las Casas for the night.

Day 2: San Cristóbal de las Casas

After breakfast, the tour will visit the indigenous villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan, including a market in San Cristóbal. A visit to the Church of San Juan Chamula will follow, blending Catholic and local beliefs. Guests will observe waist-weaving techniques in a family cooperative before enjoying lunch and free time in San Cristobal.

Day 3: San Cristóbal - Agua Azul Waterfalls - Palenque

After breakfast, the group will head to Agua Azul waterfalls for sightseeing and swimming. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant before traveling to Palenque.

Day 4: Palenque - Yaxchilán - Palenque

After breakfast, a shuttle will take the group to Yaxchilán, an ancient Maya city. The tour will discover temples and palaces before returning to Palenque for lunch.

Day 5: Palenque - Campeche

Following breakfast, a guided tour of Palenque archaeological site will explore significant Mayan structures. Post-lunch, the group will tour Campeche's historic centre and its colonial architecture.

Day 6: Campeche - Uxmal - Mérida

After breakfast, the group will visit Uxmal's archaeological site followed by lunch. The tour will then continue to Mérida for a city tour including key landmarks.

Day 7: Mérida - Chichen Itza - Cancun or Riviera Maya

Guests will depart Mérida to explore Chichen Itza, a UNESCO site, with lunch provided. The tour concludes with drop-off at chosen hotels or the airport in Cancun or Riviera Maya.

What Does the Tour Include?

The tour package includes five nights' accommodation with five breakfasts (1 box breakfast) and one lunch, transfers from Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport, transport within Mexico, an English-speaking guide, and entrance fees to specified sites. Flights should arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez before 1 pm and depart from Cancun after 6:30 pm.
