Chiapas & Yucatan 6 Day Tour Package to Cancun

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Sumidero Canyon - San Cristóbal

Upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutierrez Airport, we will transfer to the Sumidero Canyon for a 2-hour boat cruise along the Grijalva River, observing wildlife. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will check into a hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas for the night.

Day 2: San Cristóbal de las Casas

Following breakfast, we will visit the indigenous villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. We will explore a local market and the Church of San Juan Chamula. In Zinacantan, we will see traditional waist-weaving. The afternoon is free.

Day 3: San Cristóbal - Agua Azul Waterfalls - Palenque

After breakfast, we will travel to Palenque, stopping at the Agua Azul waterfalls for swimming. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Palenque - Yaxchilán - Palenque

We will take a shuttle to the archaeological site of Yaxchilán, then return to Palenque for lunch.

Day 5: Palenque - Campeche

After breakfast, we will tour the Palenque archaeological site, followed by lunch in Campeche and a guided tour of its historic center.

Day 6: Campeche - Izamal - Mérida

Breakfast at the hotel precedes a visit to the archaeological site of Izamal. After lunch, we travel to Merida to tour notable landmarks.

Day 7: Mérida - Chichen Itza - Cancun or Riviera Maya

We will visit Chichen Itza to learn about the Maya civilization. Following lunch, we will transfer to Cancun or Riviera Maya for drop-off.

What Does the Tour Include?

The package includes five nights' accommodation with breakfasts (1 box breakfast) and one lunch, transfers from Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport, transportation, an English-speaking guide, and all entrance fees to described monuments. Flights should arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez before 1 pm and depart from Cancun after 6:30 pm.
