Description
At the scheduled time, we will gather at Lot. Costa do Sol to commence our hiking journey to the Guaratuba waterfall. Are you prepared to explore the Restinga de Bertioga State Park? Let’s begin our adventure!
This 7 to 8-kilometer (4.3-4.9 mile) trek will take us through a stunning coastal landscape. Along the way, you’ll witness the gradual transition from Restinga Forest to a more densely wooded area. Here, nature reveals itself in all its glory!
We will pause at Poço do Limão, a serene lagoon where you can enjoy a swim and relax before we continue. As we proceed, take note of the diverse flora surrounding us, highlighting the captivating bromeliads and various native tree species.
Our final stop will be at the breathtaking Guaratuba Waterfall, where you can take a dive into the inviting waters and refresh yourself.
As we wrap up this journey, expect to spend approximately 5.5 to 6 hours on the trail before returning to our meeting point. Until next time!
