If you're an adventure enthusiast, don't miss out on a hiking expedition to the Torre 47 waterfall. Prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking landscapes of Bertioga's Atlantic Forest.

Description

We'll meet at kilometer 226 of the Dr. Manoel Hipólito do Rêgo road at the specified time to set off on our hike to the Torre 47 waterfall. The journey will cover a total of 8 kilometers (5 miles) as we traverse the bridge over the Jaguareguava River and venture into the Serra do Mar region, known for its Atlantic forest. This area is a prime location for observing wildlife, so keep an eye out for native bird species and butterflies.

The path leads us to the Torre 47 waterfall. The name originates from transmission tower 47, which transmits electricity from Itatinga to the port of Santos. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the waterfall and take a dip in the crystal-clear natural pool at its base.

We will return to the starting point in Bertioga, arriving between 5 - 6 hours after we began.
