Uncover the historic ritual of preparing traditional Turkish coffee in this exciting coffee workshop in Istanbul, and learn the secrets of this iconic drink.

Workshop Details

Meet us at the Highlights in Istanbul Workshops store for our Turkish coffee workshop in Istanbul.

We will learn to prepare Turkish coffee over sand, discovering its secret techniques to achieve a delicious brew. An experienced coffee expert will provide all necessary materials and guide us through this unique process.

Among the tools, the cezve is essential. This traditional Turkish coffee pot, typically copper, allows the coffee grains to boil in water, crucial for a true Turkish coffee cup. After boiling, the coffee will be served and enjoyed.

After a demonstration and a look into the history of Turkish coffee, each participant will craft their own cup, choosing from three distinct types of coffee grains, or a blend for a customized experience.

The final part includes a Turkish coffee tasting of the different brews created. Each participant will receive a coffee set consisting of a cezve, cup, coffee grounds, and a Turkish sweet, enabling you to enjoy Turkish coffee at home.
