Turkish Lamp-making

Strolling through the streets of Istanbul, you will notice the mosaic-styled lamps that adorn the city. We will meet inside the Ünver Galata Apart near the Galata Tower to begin our Turkish lamp-making workshop. Here, you can create your own pieces inspired by this art form.

Once situated, we will share techniques for making these iconic pieces. Guided by an expert, you will craft your own mosaic Turkish lamp, selecting your preferred color combinations to create a beautiful piece to take home.

As we engage in the lamp-making process, we will explore the history of these intricate lamps and their connection to the city. While we wait for our lamps to finish, you will have the chance to enjoy a refreshing drink.

After 3 hours of crafting, we will conclude our workshop and return to Taksim Plaza with a handmade souvenir.
