Workshop Details

In the streets of Istanbul, you'll encounter the mosaic-styled lamps that enhance the city's aesthetic. We will meet at the Highlights in Istanbul Workshops store to start our Turkish lamp-making workshop. Here, you will create your own pieces inspired by this art form.

After getting settled, we will share the techniques for crafting these iconic pieces. Guided by an artisan, you will create mosaic Turkish lamps and select your preferred color combinations to fashion a piece to take home.

During the lamp-making process, we will explore the history of these intricate lamps and their connection to the city. While waiting for our lamps to finish, you can relax and enjoy a drink.

After a 3-hour session of craft, we will conclude our workshop and return to Taksim Plaza with a handmade souvenir!
