Discover Rockdragon in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, with access to the Hermitage. You will approach essential villages in Biscay, such as Bermeo, Mundaka and Gernika, with a txakoli tasting included.

Our trip begins in Bilbao, next to the Puppy sculpture, and we head to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a natural gem famous for being the scene of Game of Thrones (Rockdragon). You will climb 241 steps to the hermitage, with guaranteed access. Enjoy the coastal landscape and the breeze of the Cantabrian Sea.

Then, we will visit Bermeo, where our guide will tell you his fishing history. Next, we will visit Mundaka enjoying the seafaring atmosphere and local cuisine. In Gernika, you will learn about its cultural legacy, the Gernika Tree, the air raid shelters and the Picasso mural.

We will finish with a txakolí tasting at the Berroja Winery before returning to Bilbao in the afternoon. Don’t miss out on this unique adventure!

On the guided tour of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, guests will enjoy a unique experience that combines history, nature and culture. During the tour, you can enjoy the coastal landscape by walking along the scenic trail and photographing the landscape. Climb the 241 steps and visit the Hermitage at the top, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. At the end of the tour, you will return with a greater appreciation of this iconic place and its historical and cultural links.
