Visit to Haro and Wine Tasting in La Rioja - Full-Day Tour

A full day tour that will allow you to enjoy a unique experience and discover La Rioja and its wineries where you will taste high quality wines and learn a little more about wine culture.

Depart directly to La Rioja to reach Haro, the capital of Rioja wine. There, we will visit CVNE, a centenary and emblematic winery of the area. We will take a guided tour of its essential spaces, including the barrel room designed by the legendary architect Gustave Eiffel and the underground cellars (cemetery) including wine tasting.

We will then go on a guided walking tour of the historic centre of Haro through the Plaza de la Paz. We will continue our journey passing through the Haro station district. It is there where the largest number of hundred-year-old wineries are located, before heading towards the beautiful medieval town of Laguardia.

There, we will start a walk through its picturesque narrow streets and then take a guided tour of a small traditional wine cellar where we can learn about the winemaking process from a more familiar perspective.

After the visit, we will have free time for lunch (price not included).

Before returning to Bilbao, we will pass through Elciego to discover the Marqués de Riscal building, an outstanding example of modern architecture and a symbol of the La Rioja region.
