Abseiling in the Robberg Nature Reserve
In this rappelling activity in the Robberg Nature Reserve, participants will descend cliffs over 30 meters (100 feet) high over the Atlantic Ocean. The meeting point is in the parking lot of Robberg Nature Reserve at the scheduled time. The reserve features a variety of natural landscapes, including cliffs, coves, sandy areas, and trails.
Participants will engage in a 35-meter-high (111-foot) rappelling activity under the guidance of a professional instructor. The experience begins with a safety briefing, followed by the fitting of harnesses and descending the Robberg cliffs, alongside impressive rock walls. At the bottom, the expansive Atlantic Ocean can be observed.
The adventure lasts for an hour and a half, allowing participants to confront fears, enjoy the activity, and experience an adrenaline rush. After reaching the base, there will be an exploration of the nearby Nelson Bay cave.
The activity concludes with a walk back to the starting point for farewells.
