Rupit and Besalú Day Trip

The tour starts at the Blanes Bus Station. We will depart for Rupit, recognized for its historical significance dating back to the 11th Century.

After approximately 1.5 hours, we will reach Rupit. Here, you will have free time to explore the narrow cobbled streets lined with stone houses that characterize this medieval village. A highlight of the visit is the hanging bridge, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscapes. A traditional Catalan lunch will be provided before we proceed with the tour.

Next, we will visit the Santuario de la Mare de Déu del Far, located over 1,000 meters above sea level. Our guide will share the historical context of the chapel during the visit.

We will conclude our day in Besalú, where we will see the town’s bridge, the Jewish baths, the San Pedro de Besalú and San Julián monastery and its church, as well as the old pilgrim's hospital. The tour will return to the departure point after a duration of 9.5 hours.
