Rupit and Besalú Day Trip

The tour meets at the Blanes Bus Station. We will depart for Rupit, one of Catalonia's notable villages, with origins dating back to the 11th Century.

After approximately an hour and a half, we will arrive at Rupit, where you will have free time to explore. You can walk through its narrow streets lined with stone houses, a representation of medieval architecture.

Don't miss crossing the famous hanging bridge for panoramic views of the surrounding natural scenery. The tour includes a complete, typical Catalonian lunch before we proceed.

We will then visit the Santuario de la Mare de Déu del Far, a church located over 1,000 metres above sea level. Our guide will share the chapel's historical insights.

Next, we will arrive at Besalú, another medieval town in Gerona. Highlights include the bridge, Jewish baths, San Pedro de Besalú and San Julián monastery and church, and the ancient pilgrim's hospital, before returning to the departure point.

The tour concludes after a total duration of 9.5 hours.
