Explore Iceland's second largest glacier, Langjökull, on a monster truck tour aboard the colossal Sleipnir truck. Experience an adventure to this incredible location.

Activity Details

Meet us at the Upper Gullfoss parking lot at the specified time for a bus ride to the adventure starting point. Prepare for a 4-hour journey through the highlands on steep trails, with opportunities to learn about glaciers and enjoy the stunning beauty of the Icelandic highlands.

At the halfway point, participants will disembark from the monster truck to enjoy the glacier. Depending on whether the tour occurs in summer or winter, refreshments will be available, including a hot drink and a curated playlist of Icelandic music. During summer, participants may also try sledding down the glacier, while winter tours include a visit to a natural ice cave.

Following the adventure, we will return to the Geldingafell base camp.

Tour Options

The tour varies based on the season:

Summer tour (from April 16 to October 31): Stop at a scenic viewpoint for views of the glacier, with options to relax at a café and enjoy hot beverages and traditional Icelandic pastries. Exciting activities include sledding and glacier golf.Winter tour (from November 1 to April 15): Visit a natural ice cave featuring crystal-clear ice and layers of frozen volcanic ash, showcasing the unique blue glow of glacier ice.
