We'll meet at the Thingvellir National Park visitors' centre and take a bus across this volcanic land, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our expert guide will provide essential information for your safety.

After a short journey, we'll reach the Silfra fissure, where we'll get equipped to start our snorkelling experience.

Silfra is known for its over 262 feet (80 metres) of visibility below the water and its unique position between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, allowing you to snorkel between two continents.

We'll snorkel for 45 minutes, exploring the canyon walls, various shades of blue in the clear waters, and the natural flora in Iceland. The fissure widens into Silfra Hall, where you’ll appreciate its colours and clarity before we enter Silfra Cathedral, concluding in the deepest part called Real Blue Lagoon.

Important Information

You must know how to swim to participate.Pregnant women and children under 12 years old cannot participate. Children under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.You need a reasonable fitness level, weighing between 99 and 265 lbs (45 and 120 kg) and a height of 4.9 to 6.5 ft (150 to 200 cm).A liability waiver must be signed before participation. Those over 60 years need a medical document.You must communicate in English during the tour.We'll take photos with a GoPro on the day, and you’ll receive a link to download them the following day.
