We'll meet at the Thingvellir National Park visitors' centre, where we'll board a bus to cross this volcanic land, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our expert guide will provide necessary information for a safe activity.

After a short journey, we'll reach the Silfra fissure, where we'll get kitted up and start our snorkelling experience in this unique natural setting.

Silfra is renowned for its visibility exceeding 262 feet (80 metres) and its location between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, allowing you to snorkel between two continents.

We'll snorkel for 45 minutes, exploring the canyon walls, crystal-clear waters, and natural flora. The fissure widens into Silfra Hall, showcasing the full spectrum of colors, followed by Silfra Cathedral, ending our snorkelling in the deepest part, Real Blue Lagoon.

Important Information

You must know how to swim to participate.Pregnant women and children under 12 years old cannot participate. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness, weigh between 99 and 265 lbs (45 and 120 kg), and be between 4.9 and 6.5 ft (150 and 200 cm) tall.A liability waiver must be signed before the activity. Those over 60 years must also complete a medical document.English communication is required for this tour.On the activity day, we will take photos with a GoPro in and out of the water, which can be downloaded the next day.
