The Royal Château de Blois, overlooking the Loire River, is essential for understanding French history from the 13th to 18th centuries. The building features a mix of Gothic, Baroque, and French Renaissance architecture. This skip-the-line entrance allows for self-paced exploration of its various rooms.

Linked to seven kings and ten queens of France, the château comprises four main areas: the medieval fortress remnants and the Louis XII, François I, and Gaston d'Orléans wings. Here, visitors can view the kings' and queens' quarters decorated in the styles of different monarchs.

Notable sites include the oratory and the Council Chamber, designed for leaders negotiating treaties with France. The château's iconic staircase features several Renaissance sculptures, which are among the most famous steps in the Loire Valley.
