Tour details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the cruise terminal to begin our tour of southern Bonaire.
Over the next two hours, we'll make brief stops to discover the main attractions of this Caribbean island. We'll start by passing by the Marriott Courtyard Bonaire Dive Resort.
Next, we'll head to Flamingo International Airport, known for its striking pink color. This is an opportunity for photography. Our following stop will be the salt flats of Bonaire, where we'll admire salt mountains and the contrast of the blue ocean with the pink water. This area produces 400,000 tons of salt per year.
We will then visit White Slaves to learn about the history of the old slave cabins. After this, we'll approach the Pekelmeer Flamingo Sanctuary, a notable site for flamingo reproduction, home to over 10,000 flamingos.
As we skirt the coast, we'll pass the Willemstoren lighthouse before reaching Sorobon Beach, known for windsurfing.
Finally, after a 4-hour tour, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the activity.
