Kayak & Snorkel Tour of Isla de Sacrificios

Experience the natural landscapes of the Gulf of Mexico on this tour from Boca del Río. At the designated time, we will meet at boulevard Adolfo Ruíz Cortines in Veracruz and travel by minibus or bus to La Bamba Beach, where a basic training session on kayak handling will be provided.

After the training, we will kayak to Isla de Sacrificios, supervised by professional guides. The paddle will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival, we will prepare for snorkelling by equipping fins, goggles, and breathing tubes to explore the marine life around the area of the Veracruz Reef Park.

After about 45 minutes of snorkelling, we will return to our kayaks and paddle back to La Bamba Beach. The activity will conclude at the original meeting point about 3 hours after starting.

Stand up paddle & snorkel

Alternatively, participants can choose to use stand up paddle boards (SUP) from La Bamba Beach to Isla de Sacrificios. After reaching the island, snorkelling will follow before returning to La Bamba on SUP boards.

Who can participate in this activity?

No experience is required for this activity; kayaking, snorkelling, and stand up paddle boarding are suitable for beginners.Participants must not exceed a weight of 120 kg (264 pounds).Children over 14 years old may use a single or double kayak or stand up paddle board alone with parental consent.Children between 5 and 13 years old can use a double kayak with one or two adults, not exceeding a total weight of 200 kg (440 pounds).
