Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the port of Isla Colón to begin our trip to Isla Escudo de Veraguas. We will board a boat in Bocas del Toro and sail for 3 hours along the Caribbean Sea.

During the trip, we'll stop at a pristine beach for a swim. Upon arrival at Isla Escudo de Veraguas, we will take a scenic tour to explore the island's biodiversity, aiming to spot the endangered Pygmy 3-toed sloth and the strawberry poison-dart frog.

Next, we'll stop at a beach for snorkelling to explore the seabed of the Panamanian Caribbean, followed by free time for lunch.

After lunch, we’ll visit the community of Río Caña to learn about local traditions and attend a traditional dance show.

We will observe how local artisans use natural materials to create products, with the opportunity to purchase items. Finally, we will return to the boat and head back to Bocas del Toro, concluding our trip 10 hours later.
