Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Isla Colón to begin our trip to Isla Escudo de Veraguas. We'll board a boat and sail along the Caribbean Sea for 3 hours.
During the journey, we’ll stop at a pristine beach for swimming. Upon arrival at Isla Escudo de Veraguas, we'll disembark and take a scenic tour to explore the island's biodiversity. This area is the natural habitat of the Pygmy 3-toed sloth and the strawberry poison-dart frog.
After the tour, we'll stop at a beach for snorkelling to discover the seabed of the Panamanian Caribbean. You will have free time for lunch in this beautiful location.
Post lunch, we will visit the community of Río Caña to learn about the local traditions. This includes attending a traditional dance show and observing how locals create artisan products from natural materials. You'll have the opportunity to purchase items before we return to the boat for the journey back to Bocas del Toro.
We’ll conclude the trip after approximately 10 hours and say our goodbyes.
