Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the port of Isla Colón to begin our trip to Isla Escudo de Veraguas. We'll board a boat in Bocas del Toro and sail for 3 hours along the Caribbean Sea.

During the journey, there will be a stop at a pristine beach for a swim. Upon arrival at Isla Escudo de Veraguas, we'll take a scenic tour to explore the island's biodiversity, which includes the Pygmy 3-toed sloth and the strawberry poison-dart frog.

After the tour, there will be a chance to go snorkelling and explore the seabed of the Panamanian Caribbean. You will have some free time for lunch in this area.

Post-lunch, we'll visit the community of Río Caña to learn about the local culture and attend a traditional dance show. You will also observe how locals create artisan products using natural materials.

We will then return to the boat and head back to Bocas del Toro, concluding our trip after approximately 10 hours.
