Starfish Beach & Bird Island Day Trip

We'll enjoy two picturesque places in Bocas del Toro on this excursion to Starfish Beach and Bird Island.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at pier 3R on Avenida H Norte. Here, we'll board a boat to explore two notable locations on Panama's north coast.

We'll sail through clear waters until we reach Bird Island (Pájaros Island), a sanctuary for tropical birds. The 45-minute journey will allow us to view the coast and beaches of Colón Island, ideal for photographs. Refreshments, including beer or water, will be provided.

Upon arrival, we will see numerous native and migratory birds such as pelicans, frigatebirds, gannets, and red-billed tropicbirds, along with huge reefs, turquoise waters, and wild vegetation.

After half an hour on the island, we will set sail for Starfish Beach (Playa Estrella), located northwest of Colón Island. Here, you'll have approximately 5 hours of free time to enjoy the water or go snorkelling. Meals can be purchased at beach bars.

Finally, we will sail for about 45 minutes back to the departure pier in Bocas del Toro, arriving 7 hours after setting sail.
