We'll enjoy two of the most picturesque places in Bocas del Toro on this excursion to Starfish Beach and Bird Island.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at pier 3R on Avenida H Norte. Here, we'll board a boat to visit two notable locations on Panama's north coast. The adventure begins!

We'll sail through crystal clear waters to reach Bird Island (Pájaros Island), a sanctuary for tropical birds. The 45-minute journey will offer views of the coast and beaches of Colón Island, providing a great backdrop for photographs. Refreshments including beer or water will be available.

Upon arrival, we will observe various native and migratory birds such as pelicans, frigatebirds, gannets, and red-billed tropicbirds. The area features huge reefs, turquoise waters, and wild vegetation.

After 30 minutes on Bird Island, we will sail to Starfish Beach (Playa Estrella), located in the northwest of Colón Island. Here, you will have approximately 5 hours of free time to swim or go snorkelling. Meals can be purchased from beach bars at your convenience.

Finally, we will return to the departure pier in Bocas del Toro, arriving 7 hours after setting sail.
