When in Creel, exploring the Tararecua Canyon hiking route is essential. This journey covers canyons, mountains, forests, waterfalls, rivers, and springs, showcasing diverse wildlife.

Hiking Through the Tararecua Canyon

We'll begin by picking you up at your hotel at the scheduled time and head toward Tararecua Canyon. Situated in the Sierra Tarahumara mountain range, this hiking adventure promises memorable experiences.

Upon arriving at the canyon, our hike will commence amidst scenic surroundings, revealing stunning views of canyons, mountains, caverns, forests, waterfalls, rivers, springs, and the unique biodiversity of Chihuahua state.

The hiking trail spans approximately 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) and takes about seven hours to complete. The pace will be adjusted according to the group, with ample opportunities for photography breaks.

A picnic lunch will be provided midway, featuring a turkey sandwich, fruit, cookies, and a beverage to replenish energy.

During the journey, we will visit Ekarine hot springs, where you can enjoy a relaxing bath in natural pools by the river, adjacent to Tararecua Ravine.

After the hiking tour, we will return you to your hotel in Creel.
