La Chorrera Forest Hiking Tour

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Creel. There, we'll board a vehicle that will take us to the vicinity of Lake Arareco, where we'll begin this hiking route through the forest of La Chorrera, located between two mountains.

Once we arrive at this point, we'll set off on a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) hike among the trees of this dense forest, known as pinabetes, which can reach 25 meters (82 feet) in height.

During the excursion, we'll admire all kinds of plants and animals in the forest of La Chorrera. In summer, you can even see mist on the trees, which creates a stunning landscape you'll not soon forget.

Eventually, we'll reach the highest part of the forest, where we'll have views of the valley of San Ignacio in the distance. At the end of the route through the forest of La Chorrera, we'll leave you at your hotel in Creel, where we'll arrive around 10 am.
