Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Hotel Radisson Blu in Bodø. We will board a minibus, arriving at Straumen Strait in 30 minutes, where the electric bikes await. Prepare for a cycling adventure.

The cycling route will last approximately two hours, focusing on spotting wild moose on the island of Straumøya. Observing these animals in their habitat will be memorable.

On this bike safari, we will cycle through the island's forests, with views of the Saltfjorden fjord as we search for moose. We will make several stops and provide snacks and a hot drink for refueling along the way.

During our adventure, we will explore questions about whether moose are solitary creatures, their antler shedding patterns, and the dangers they face. This journey promises an educational experience while keeping your curiosity engaged.

After the biking, we will complete four hours of hiking, returning to the starting point.
