Electric Bike Tour + Moose Watching

Description

We will meet at the Hotel Radisson Blu in Bodø. After boarding a minibus, we will arrive at Straumen Strait within 30 minutes, where the electric bikes will be ready. The cycling route will last approximately two hours with the aim of witnessing wild moose on the island of Straumøya.

This bike safari will take us through the island's forests, providing views of the Saltfjorden fjord as we search for moose. We will make several stops and snacks along with a hot drink are included for refueling at any time.

As we explore, we will discuss moose behavior, including their tendency towards solitude, antler shedding, and the dangers they face. This will be an educational experience throughout the journey.

After visiting, we will leave the bicycles and after four hours of hiking, we will return to the starting point.
