Looking for an adventurous sightseeing experience in the Bodø region? Join us for a boat cruise tour around Kjerringøy and Nordfjord for a maritime adventure!
Description
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll meet at the pier behind the Bryggerikaia Restaurant (Sjøgata 1). From here, we'll set off towards the beaches of Hovdsundet and Mjelle.
We will then reach the fjord of Nordfjorden, which is the sixth-longest fjord in Norway, stretching to 106 kilometres (65 miles) in length, entirely untouched and within the Sjunkhatten National Park.
During the tour, knowledgeable guides will provide information about the surrounding environment, and participants will have plenty of opportunities to take photos of the landscapes in northern Norway. Don't forget your camera!
Next, we will visit Kjerringøy Handelsted, an 18th-century historic trading post with a rich history. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the open-air museum, consisting of 15 buildings, and learn about its heritage.
Following a full tour duration of 5 to 6 hours, we will return to Bodø. Til neste gang!
