Looking for an adventurous sightseeing experience in the Bodø region? Join us for a boat cruise tour around Kjerringøy and Nordfjord for a maritime adventure!
Description
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll meet at the pier behind the Bryggerikaia Restaurant (Sjøgata 1). From this point, we'll set off on the calm waters towards the beaches of Hovdsundet and Mjelle.
Once we sail past the beaches, we'll reach the fjord of Nordfjorden, the sixth-longest fjord in Norway, stretching to 106 kilometres (65 miles). This fjord is entirely untouched and lies within the Sjunkhatten National Park.
Throughout this tour, our knowledgeable guides will reveal interesting information about the surrounding environment and provide opportunities for stunning photos. Don't forget your camera!
We'll also see Kjerringøy Handelsted, an 18th-century trading post established in the late 1700s. Here, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the open-air museum and learn about the location's history and heritage.
Finally, after a tour of between 5 and 6 hours, we'll make our way back to Bodø. Til neste gang!
