Tour Details

After meeting up at the indicated time in the back of the Quality Hotel Ramsalt, we'll set sail on a cruise around Bodø, seeking the beaches of Hovdsundet and Mjelle.

Upon passing the beaches, we will reach the fjord of Nordfjorden, Norway's sixth-longest fjord at 106 kilometres (65 miles). This untouched fjord lies within the Sjunkhatten National Park.

Throughout the tour, knowledgeable guides will share information about the environment, and there will be numerous opportunities for stunning photos of the landscapes in northern Norway.

Next, we'll visit Kjerringøy Handelsted, an 18th-century trading post established in the late 1700s, where you will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the open-air museum comprised of 15 buildings and learn about its heritage.

Finally, after a tour of 5 to 6 hours, we'll return to Bodø. Til neste gang!
