Moose Watching in Bodø

Join us on a moose-watching tour in Bodø as we explore the forests in search of these Nordic creatures.

Description

At 7 pm, we will meet at the tourist information point in Bodø to begin our safari in search of Europe's largest land animal: the moose.

We will board a comfortable minibus and travel through the forests surrounding Bodø, targeting areas known for good visibility and high chances of spotting moose. Please note that animal behavior can be unpredictable.

Throughout the tour, our guide will provide insights about the Norwegian moose, which are different from their Canadian counterparts. For example, they can reach lengths of up to 6.5 ft (2 meters). We will also provide a refreshing drink and snack during the tour.

After capturing memorable photos of the moose, we will return to the starting point, arriving around 11 pm.
