Moose Watching in Bodø

Join us on a moose-watching tour in Bodø as we venture into the forests in search of these Nordic creatures.

Description

At 7 pm, we will meet at the tourist information point in Bodø for a safari in search of Europe's largest land animal: the moose.

We will board a comfortable minibus and travel through the forests surrounding Bodø, targeting areas known for high visibility and the likelihood of encountering moose. However, animal behavior can be unpredictable.

During the tour, our guide will provide insights about the Norwegian moose, which differ from Canadian moose. They can reach lengths of up to 6.5 ft (2 meters). We will also offer a refreshing drink and snack.

After capturing memorable photos of the moose, we will return to the starting point, arriving around 11 pm.
