Bogota Chocolate Workshop
Colombian cocoa is considered one of the best in the world, making this workshop in Bogotá essential for chocolate enthusiasts.
Meeting will be at 4 pm at The Cranky Croc Hostel, followed by a walk to a central location for the chocolate workshop. Participants will taste chocolates from five regions of Colombia, featuring various cocoa percentages, including pure dark chocolate and softer milk blends.
The workshop covers all stages of the chocolate-making process and explores which tropical fruits pair best with Colombian cocoa. Following the tasting, individuals will select their favorite chocolates and learn to create different chocolate items, taking home a box with three chocolates made during the workshop.
The experience includes a final treat of a typical Colombian cake. Options include almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, or mantecada. Additionally, participants can choose an arepa from three varieties: boyacense, santandereana, or the classic made with corn, aniseed, and cheese.
The workshop concludes at 5:30 pm at the same location, with the option for accompaniment back to the meeting point.
