Visit an authentic Colombian coffee plantation on this day trip from Bogotá and help the farmers pick the beans to make a delicious cup of coffee!

Bogotá Coffee Farm Trip

We'll meet at 8:30 am at The Cranky Croc Hostel and take a bus to the mountains of Bogotá, enjoying views of the Choachí district during the approximately hour-and-a-half ride. Our destination is an organic coffee farm, where farmers will explain their daily work and the coffee harvesting process.

Afterward, we will enjoy a traditional Colombian breakfast prepared by the farmers before helping them pick ripe coffee beans from over 8,000 coffee plants. We will then learn about processing the beans, including cleaning and selecting them, culminating in tasting a delicious cup of coffee.

Before returning to Bogotá, we will stop for a homemade lunch and enjoy a visit to the moors for pictures of the stunning views. We will return to the starting point between 5 to 6 pm.
