Criadero Lusitania Stable Private Trip

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Bogotá and make our way north. After an hour, we'll arrive in the El Rosal municipality, located in the Department of Cundinamarca.

On the outskirts of this town, we'll find Criadero Lusitania, known for its equestrian centre with a history of caring for and breeding Colombian Paso Fino horses, declared a Genetic Cultural Heritage.

Upon arrival, we'll be welcomed with a Colombian coffee. Next, we'll watch a short film about the breeding of Colombian horses, highlighting their historical, genetic, and cultural importance.

Following the video, we'll take a guided tour of Criadero Lusitania. During the tour, we will see the tack room and visit the stables to brush, pet, and feed the horses, respecting them at all times.

After the tour, we'll enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch with options including sanchocho, bandeja paisa, criolla burger, ajiaco, or a vegetarian option. Beverages include soft drinks or mineral water.

Post-lunch, we'll attend an equestrian demonstration led by a chalan, the horse tamer. After the display, those interested may mount a horse under the chalan's supervision.

Finally, we'll return to Bogotá, expected to arrive back about 6 hours after the initial starting time.
