Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Bogotá and head north. After an hour, we'll arrive in the El Rosal municipality in the Department of Cundinamarca.

At Criadero Lusitania, known for its equestrian center with a history spanning 3 generations, we will learn about the breeding of Colombian Paso Fino horses, a race declared as a Genetic Cultural Heritage.

Upon arrival, we will be welcomed with a Colombian coffee and view a short film about the breeding, highlighting the historical, genetic, and cultural significance of this breed.

Next, a guided tour of the facilities at Criadero Lusitania will include the tack room and stables, allowing us to brush, pet, and feed the horses.

Following the tour, we will enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch featuring options such as sanchocho, bandeja paisa, criolla burger, ajiaco, or a vegetarian option, with a choice of soft drink or mineral water.

After lunch, we will attend an equestrian demonstration directed by a chalan. Those interested may mount a horse under supervision.

Finally, we'll begin our return journey to Bogotá, expected to arrive back after approximately 6 hours from the start.
