Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá Day Trip
Following the pickup from your selected meeting point in Bogotá, we will depart north towards Zipaquirá, with a travel time of 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours of free time in the Salt Cathedral, which is located 590 feet (180 metres) underground. You can admire various sculptures and crosses made from salt and marble elements. The temperature inside remains below 15 degrees Celsius, and highlights include the choir, Stations of the Cross, and water mirrors. In 2007, it was named the first of the Seven Wonders of Colombia.
Following your visit, you'll have 1 hour in Zipaquirá for lunch and exploration of the old quarter, where you can see the Santísima Trinidad Cathedral and colonial-style buildings.
We will then return to Bogotá for drop-off.
