On our guided tour of the Usaquén neighbourhood, we'll explore one of the fashionable districts in the Colombian capital, admire its architecture and immerse ourselves in its lively atmosphere.
Description
The guided tour of the Usaquén neighbourhood will begin at the scheduled time from the Hacienda Santa Bárbara Shopping Centre, a National Monument of Colombia located on a colonial estate.
We'll explore the historic estate and then walk around the buildings in Usaquén, observing architectural features such as squares, fountains, and churches built between the 16th and 17th centuries, including the significant Church of Santa Bárbara.
Situated in the north of Bogotá, Usaquén has become popular due to its varied gastronomy. The district is known for its cosy bistros, fusion restaurants, street markets, and music, making it a must-see for visitors.
During the tour, we'll pass by the Eudist Valmaría Seminary and the colonial-style City Hall of Usaquén. We'll also stop for coffee and juice before returning to the starting point to allow time for exploring shops or having lunch at eateries in the shopping centre. The tour will last 3 hours in total.
