Walking Tour of Barrio Ramírez

At your selected time, we'll meet in front of the Gold Museum in Bogota. After gathering, we'll leave the busy city center to explore the Barrio Ramírez favela.

The neighborhood is located near the official residence of the President of Colombia. During the walking tour, we'll learn about daily life and culture in the favela community.

We will discuss concepts such as "stratification" and "invasion" to understand the origins and current state of the Ramírez favela. You will also have the opportunity to participate in some of the locals' daily recycling work.

You will attend a workshop on the use of materials, learning about the importance of recycling for the community. Additionally, you will take home a unique souvenir.

Finally, we will return to the starting point and conclude the four-hour tour.
