On this tour from Bogotá, we'll visit the Zipaguirá Cathedral of Salt and enjoy a meal at the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant in Chía.

Tour Details

We will collect you from your hotel in Bogotá and travel towards the Zipaquirá Cathedral of Salt, a notable Colombian landmark.

A guided tour of the church, located 180 metres deep within a salt mine, will last around 2 hours. During the tour, you will see an altar carved from salt and the Stations of the Cross sculptures depicting Jesus' crucifixion.

After the cathedral visit, you will have 40 minutes of free time for shopping at the area outside the cathedral. Then, we will proceed to Chía for your reserved table at Andrés Carne de Res restaurant.

While enjoying a lunch at your own expense, you will be entertained by a live music show featuring merengue, salsa, and bachata.

After lunch, we will return to Bogotá, expected to arrive back after approximately 10 hours.
