2.5-Hour Tour

The tour begins at your hotel in central Bologna or at Piazza Nettuno. We will view the Neptune Fountain and explore the surrounding historical centre. Your guide will share anecdotes about Bologna, known as la Dotta, la Grassa, and la Rossa. We will visit the Church of San Petronio and stop at Lucio Dalla's house on Via D'Azeglio. The tour will continue to the Archiginnasio, the first seat of the University of Bologna, to see the Anatomical Theatre. Next, we will head to Mercato di Mezzo to discuss Bolognese gastronomic traditions and visit Palazzo della Mercanzia to learn about ancient local trades. The tour concludes near the Due Torri.

5-Hour Tour

This extended tour follows the same route as the 2.5-hour option. After lunch, we will visit the Basilica of Santo Stefano and the Finestrella in Via Piella, concluding at Via Indipendenza.

We will meet in front of the church of San Procolo. The tour explores Bologna's hidden secrets, starting at Via Piella with its Finestrella, continuing through Piazza Maggiore to Corte de' Galluzzi, and reaching Piazza Santo Stefano to conclude.
