Description
We'll meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Nettuno, a central hub in Bologna. From there, we'll stroll to a typical osteria, which changes depending on the season.
In this establishment, we'll savor a tasting experience featuring three Italian wines with the esteemed DOC label, signifying their Denomination of Controlled Origin. During the tasting, we'll distinguish between various varieties and uncover the primary grape types cultivated in Emilia-Romagna.
Our wine tasting will include a complement of regional products, featuring traditional breads, cheeses, Bologna's renowned mortadellas, and other local delicacies. These Italian treats are designed to accompany the wines we will sample.
Additionally, we'll learn some intriguing facts about Bologna's osterias. Once dedicated solely to serving wine, these establishments now offer exceptional culinary experiences featuring traditional recipes that highlight the region's culinary heritage.
Our 2-hour Italian wine tasting will conclude at the osteria.
