The grapes from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy are known for producing outstanding products. During our wine tasting in Bologna, you'll have the opportunity to sample various varieties paired with local appetizers at an authentic osteria.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Nettuno, a central hub in Bologna, and then stroll to a typical osteria, which varies by season.

At this establishment, we will enjoy a tasting experience featuring three Italian wines with the esteemed DOC label, denoting their Denomination of Controlled Origin. Throughout the tasting, we will explore the differences between varieties and the primary grape types cultivated in Emilia-Romagna.

Our wine tasting will be complemented by regional products, such as traditional breads, cheeses, and Bologna's renowned mortadellas. These local delicacies are ideal companions for the wines sampled.

Furthermore, we will uncover intriguing facts about Bologna's osterias during our enological and gastronomic experience. These charming establishments have transformed from wine-serving venues to featuring traditional recipes that highlight the region's culinary heritage.

The 2-hour Italian wine tasting will conclude at the osteria.
