Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, you'll head to the Bologna Central Station to begin the trip to Ravenna. A train will take you to the meeting point for the tour, approximately an hour away.

Upon arrival by train, a guided tour of Ravenna will commence, showcasing 8 monuments that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour includes major attractions such as the San Apolina Basilica, Gala Placidia Mausoleum, San Vitale Basilica, and the Neonian Baptistry, renowned for their remarkable mosaics.

Beginning at the Piazza San Francesco, the tour will navigate through the old town, stopping at key points of interest. After the guided segment, there will be an hour of free time for lunch and further exploration.

Finally, return to the station to take the train back to Bologna, concluding your experience after a total of 7 hours.

Note that you will need to take the train on your own. Once in Ravenna, the guide will meet you at Piazza San Francesco 7, about a 10-minute walk from the Ravenna train station.
