Join us on this guided tour of the Blue Lake Grotto, a significant natural attraction in Bonito, featuring an underground spring. This cave is a National Heritage Site.

Blue Lake Grotto Guided Tour

We will meet at Frida Garzella dos Santos road, 22 kilometres from Bonito's centre. A small path will lead us to the cave entrance, obscured by jungle vegetation.

With safety helmets on, we will descend approximately 300 steps into the cave. Inside, you will see numerous stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.

The name of the grotto becomes clear as we reach the underground lake, known for its striking indigo waters. This area was designated a National Historic and Artistic Heritage Site in 1978.

You will have time to take photos of the spring before we ascend back to the surface.

The guided tour will conclude after an hour and 20 minutes at the starting point.
