Join us on this guided tour of the Blue Lake Grotto, a significant natural attraction in Bonito, featuring an underground spring within a cave designated as a National Heritage Site.
Blue Lake Grotto Guided Tour
We will meet at Frida Garzella dos Santos road, located 22 kilometres from Bonito's center. From there, we will follow a path leading to the entrance of the Blue Lake cave, which is partially obscured by jungle vegetation.
Prepare to explore as we don our safety helmets and descend approximately 300 steps into the cave. Inside, you will see numerous stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.
As we approach the depths of the Blue Lake grotto, you will witness the stunning underground lake, renowned for its intense indigo color, leading to its designation as a National Historic and Artistic Heritage Site in 1978.
You will have ample time to capture photos of the cave's spring before we ascend back up the stairs.
After approximately an hour and 20 minutes, the guided tour will conclude at the starting point.

Following your reservation, we will contact you to confirm the starting time of the activity, which will take place between 7 am and 2 pm.
