Fresh air, waterfalls and privileged views of the Serra da Bodoquena are the highlights of this hiking route along the Mimoso River. We'll walk along the banks of this river, admiring the nature that surrounds Bonito.

Mimoso River Waterfalls Hiking Tour

At the agreed time we'll meet at the Mimosa ranch, located 25 kilometres north of Bonito. From this point, we'll start a hiking route that will take us to explore the incredible waterfalls of the Mimoso River.

During the hike we'll cover a total of 2.8 kilometres (1.7 miles), admiring the beauty of the surrounding landscape and learning about its flora and fauna.

We'll enter wooded areas along the banks of the Mimoso River and come across wooden walkways and up to ten waterfalls. We'll also stop at different viewpoints that will offer panoramic views of the Serra da Bodoquena National Park.

You'll be able to take a dip in the natural pools formed by the waterfalls of the Mimoso River. In one of them, there is a platform for jumping into the water from a height of 6 metres (19.6 feet).

After four hours of walking, we'll finish the hiking route saying goodbye at the starting point.
