Have you ever imagined what it would be like to swim inside an aquarium? Now you can experience this sensation by snorkelling in the Baía Bonita River, ideal for exploring the aquatic fauna and flora of Mato Grosso do Sul!

Snorkelling in the Baía Bonita River

We will meet at the Aquário Natural, located 8 kilometres from the centre of Bonito. The Baía Bonita river flows through this ecological reserve, known for its crystal clear waters.

Participants will be provided with a wetsuit, lifejacket, snorkelling goggles and a snorkel. Following this, a 15 minute hike will lead us to the source of the Baía Bonita river, where there may be opportunities to spot local wildlife such as monkeys and birds.

Once in the water, we will swim to explore the biodiversity of the site, observing numerous fish and river vegetation. The clear waters are attributed to limestone and sunlight reflections, which will be explained during the snorkelling experience.

After two and a half hours of activity, we will return to the starting point. Participants can choose to relax in the pools and jacuzzi of the Aquário Bonito reserve afterwards.
