Explore the underwater biodiversity of Bonito by snorkelling in the Formoso River. We will provide wetsuits, goggles, and snorkels to discover the aquatic life in the Mato Grosso do Sul region.

Snorkelling in the Formoso River

We will meet at the ecotourism complex Praia da Figueira at the agreed time. After introductions, we will wear our wetsuits and walk to the Formoso riverbed, one of the main currents in Bonito.

Equipped with goggles and snorkels, accompanied by a guide, we will embark on an aquatic journey to explore the rich biodiversity of this river. We will swim through various depths to uncover the hidden aquatic life.

The crystal clear waters of the Formoso river will allow us to observe shoals of different fish species, including catfish, tarpon, piavuçu, tetras, and gilthead bream. Stay alert!

After an hour and a half, we will conclude the activity at the starting point. You may leave or continue to enjoy the river beach of Praia da Figueira, which features slides, kayaks, hammocks, and a zip line.
