Meet us in front of the Cité du Vin Museum in Bordeaux, and we'll set off on a day trip to visit Arachon Bay and the Dune of Pilat.

Our first stop is in Gujan-Mestras, the oyster capital within the Arachon Basin. Here, we'll indulge in an oyster tasting paired with a glass of white wine. Additionally, you can request an aperitif of shrimp or pâté to enhance your experience.

As we enjoy the coastal flavors, our guide will share insights into the oyster farming culture of the region, detailing characteristics of the oysters from the Arcachon Basin and how they're harvested from the sea.

Next, we'll head to the Dune of Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, reaching a height of 108 meters (354 feet) above sea level. We'll climb the staircase to reach the summit for breathtaking views of Cap Ferret, the basin mouth, and the Banc d'Arguin. Our guide will also share facts about this unique ecosystem and its history.

After 5 hours of adventure, we'll return to the meeting point in Bordeaux.
