Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Bordeaux and set off to explore the highlights of the Aquitaine region. After about 1 hour by minibus, we’ll arrive at the Dune of Pilat, the largest sand dune in Europe. We’ll climb the steps to the top for views over Arcachon Bay.

Next, we’ll head into Arcachon, known for its fishing and oyster farming. We’ll see notable villas, including the former residence of Alexandre Dumas, and stop at a viewpoint for views over the bay.

Our tour will then proceed to the oyster port of La Teste-de-Buch. Here, you'll enjoy a tasting of 6 to 12 fresh oysters paired with white wine. It’s an authentic culinary experience along the Atlantic coast.

After 5 to 6 hours, we’ll return to the original departure point in Bordeaux.
